Why do some people end messages with an ellipsis?

I’m in a lot of forums and discord’s and I have seen a couple people that end all there messages with an ellipsis. For example “No, don’t do that. Do this instead . . .” “I’ll brb I gotta get food . . .” Or “How are you doing? I hope you’re doing well . . .” And they end every messages like that. To me it can sometimes come off as condescending but it’s clear there not trying to be condescending. So I’m guessing it’s a cultural thing but I don’t know what group of people communicate like that. If anyone knows let me know
